•10+ years experience in embedded product design, development, verification and validation
•Experience in Medical product development cycle involving requirement analysis, specification compiling, architecture, hardware design, development, documentation, testing and implementation
•Experience in hardware development for 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers/microprocessors
•Experience in Analog and Digital circuit design, Mixed Signal design
•Experience in SPI, I2C, RS-232, RS-485 and other standard protocols
•Should be capable of reviewing PCB Layout and provide necessary inputs to PCB Designer
•Experience in authoring hardware design and verification/validation test documentation as per QMS processes
•Hands on experience for debugging the hardware issues, finding root cause and fix the design inefficiencies to improve the products
•Experience in developing protocols and execution of various medical device safety and EMI/EMC compliance standards-based tests for IEC/AAMI 60601-1, 60601-1-2, 60601-2-2, 60601-2-27, 60601-2-34 etc.
•Experience in product enhancements and component obsolescence for RoHS compliance and cost optimization for existing product in manufacturing
•Familiarity with various tools such as OrCAD, Altium Designer, PSpice Simulator etc.
•Understanding of Embedded C
•Working experience with using tools like Logic Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Programmable Power supplies, etc.
•Familiarity with version control tools
•Good team player as well as team lead, experience working with cross functional teams, raise timely risks and mitigation plans
