051724-Global IT Infrastructure – Solutions Architect

Role

The ITSSB (Infrastructure) Solutions Architect will lead the design of new (or improved) IT Infrastructure Systems and Solutions, and the development of associated services to meet the Business requirements on tactical level.

In this role, he/she is an excellent communicator who can translate requirements into functional architecture.

He/she also has a broad knowledge on IT technologies and hands-on experience on IT infrastructure domain that help to make the technical design of a solution and support the implementation.

In addition, he/she can transpose a technical solution into services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performing the analysis (objectives, scope, and stakeholders) of the demands from IT Business Partners
  • Planning the requirements assessment and gathering information from various stakeholders
  • Defining and documenting the detailed requirements
  • Working closely with GroupIT technical teams to identify the solutions that meet requirements
  • Leading the technical design, defining the implementation plan, and identifying the solution cost
  • Enabling innovation and industrialization (globalization, automation, …)
  • Documenting the selected solution
  • Supporting the technical implementation of the solution
  • Supporting the design and the publishing of the GroupIT Premium services related to the solution

 

Skills

  • Having a broad and advanced understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Having hands-on experience on IT architecture (project management is a plus)
  • Understanding of Group IT services, practices, processes, and tools
  • Understanding of architectural principles
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing architectures in infrastructure domain
  • Ability to document IT solution (functional and technical design elements)
  • Ability to collaborate and interact at multiple levels
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving skills

Analytical skills

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
