051589-Senior Business Analyst – Salesforce Commerce Cloud

 

Our Senior Business Analyst – eCommerce Salesforce Commerce Cloud role is responsible for assisting on client projects to facilitate discovery, conduct requirements gathering and refinement, define process gaps, define configuration specifications, perform quality assurance, and manage project documentation.  You'll be responsible for consulting with our clients to develop and document detailed understandings of client requirements in eCommerce engagements, translating those requirements into functional specifications and technical needs.

As a leading analyst, you will conceptualize a business or technical solution, leveraging colleagues and partners. You have mastered at least one methodology in-depth and have an advanced knowledge of either one or more business domains; one or more ERP solutions; or one or more technical tools/ languages.  You have wide knowledge of industry innovations and competitor activity and actively engage in, and contribute to, internal and external knowledge developments.  Possible positions could include being a Business Process Consultant in process improvements; a Business Analyst performing “as-is/ to-be” analysis on business processes and/ or IT; or an experienced Functional Consultant who is able to advise clients on the implementation of one or more package modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate client requirements gathering sessions with external and internal stakeholders, documenting those requirements into use cases, activity diagrams and functional specifications.
  • Work with Project Managers and clients on new/existing SFCC implementations to ensure timely and effective delivery of requirements documentation in line with agreed upon project hours.
  • Lead efforts to evaluate, select, recommend and implement appropriate software & system solutions that support and enable the delivery of SFCC and related applications.
  • Provide thought leadership in eCommerce best practices, the selection and recommendation of eCommerce applications and their ancillary systems.
  • Identify and present process improvements for requirements gathering and documentation of those requirements.
  • Update base functionality templates that reflect current version capabilities of the SFCC platform.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of SFCC administrative/Business Manager functionality.
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
  • Track and reports hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years of BA experience (2 years minimum with eCommerce platforms).
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or other eCommerce platforms is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proficiency in Business Knowledge, Business Change Management, Functional Architecture Design & Project Financials, KPI´s & Reporting.
  • Should have progressing skills on Software Engineering & Architecture Knowledge.
  • Should have baseline in testing.
  • Requirements gathering experience from business organizations (via interviews, observations, surveys, etc.) to translate into documented business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into use cases and functional test cases. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce OMS
  • Experience in process methodology (Agile/ Scrum) and collaborative tools such as JIRA, Rally, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
