The Technical Lead (TECH LEAD) position is a senior development/supervisory position in the organization. The Technical Lead position corresponds to the Development Technical Team Leader (Team Lead) role on projects, and supervises the day-to-day activity of development team (back-end developers and/or front-end developers) and functions as a project team's most senior applications engineer. The Technical Lead reports organizationally to the Development Manager; however, he or she partners functionally within project teams, working under the direction of the Technical Architect (TA), and the Project Manager (PM) or Application Coordinator (AC). The Technical Lead can be involved in sprint planning, running daily scrums, performing code reviews, and communicating with team members on both progress and roadblocks.
On projects of smaller size and simple-to-intermediate complexity, the Technical Lead can be called upon to perform software development and is expected and required to have and maintain the skills of a Senior Application Engineer on the platform.
Required Skills and Capabilities:
•Capable of successfully leading Large Size or Complex projects
•Capable of successfully leading multiple Small Size or Simple Complexity projects
•Proficient in core Ecommerce functionalities and platform specific customization
•Proficient understanding of platform specific architecture
•Proficient in developing web applications for the relevant focus (i.e. Front-End or Back-End) and platform (i.e. Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) (aka Demandware), Magento, SAP Hybris, etc.)
•Proficient in managing the administration of the relevant platform (i.e. Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) (aka Demandware), Magento, SAP Hybris, etc.)
•Proficient in using and managing version control through Git – including planning and creating branches, and performing merges.
•Proficient in effectively document complex functionality in code and documentation
•Ability to lead, enforce, and help define development standards
•Current Developer certification in the relevant platform (i.e. Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) (aka Demandware), Magento, SAP Hybris) or ability to obtain such certification within 3 months of hire
•Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts
•Solid understanding of the MVC paradigm

Applications Consultants have expertise in a specific technology environment. They are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE). These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.
Required Skills and Experience:
You are an expert in one or more business processes and technology practices and are accountable for translating a business case into a detailed technical design. Alternatively, you are responsible for operational and technical issues and translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications. You may also be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing. You act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience. You are seen as active member within technology communities.
• Qualification: 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: SE level 1 and seeking level 2.
• Must have experience in Package Configuration.
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
