050076-Managing Software Engineer – Cloud SAP Basis Migration Project Manager

Role Summary: 
Capgemini is looking for high-caliber technologists who will deliver professional services in project management that includes implementation, migration and integration of Cloud Services within the customer’s IT framework. Responsibilities include, among others, Project Management, liaison with Client Senior Management (VP, CIO etc) leading customers through the design process to leverage a wide range of Cloud services in their IT estate, coordinating  with Cloud solution architects, client architects, and Capgemini project teams to design a robust Project Plan, track & deliver the same and help manage customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of SAP BASIS technology architecture consulting experience in customer-facing roles with deep Cloud experience. As a Project Manager, you will be involved in coordinating Cloud based solutions. Good understanding of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure, VirtuStream, HEC or other cloud providers and their architecture is preferred

Basic qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Liaison with clients’ technical team or hosting partner to direct the Project and oversee installation and migration steps.
2.Project management lead
3.Layout detailed Project Plan
4.Conduct all Client facing meetings 
5.Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors and Client teams
6.Ability to maintain and track budget at microscopic level
7.Layout Governance plan

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
1.Certified EM
2.Certified in SAP Heterogeneous migrations – added advantage
3.Deep understanding of SAP Projects – Migration, Install etc 
4.Very good Communication skill – verbal & written
5.Ability to manage multiple teams in various time zones and be SPOC for all communications and escalations
6.> 15 years experience in Project Management; SAP Projects preferred
 
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Software Engineers perform requirements analysis.  They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.

  

Required Skills and Experience:

 

You are a specialist in enterprise-wide Software Engineering technology, including all its processes, languages, databases, frameworks and tools. You act as a stream lead on complex international engagements and you are proficient at analyzing and assessing commercial benefits. You contribute to multiple winning bids and are a technical lead on a significant bid. You are successful at winning pull-through or add-on business to existing accounts and have strong knowledge of at least two service offers. You are an active coach and mentor who helps in coaching others through the Software Engineering & Architecture certification process.  You actively participate in the ongoing development of SE&A certification programs and lead briefings or training sessions.

 

• Qualification: 12+ years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Should have SE level 2 and is seeking SE Level 3.
• Must have experience in Software Engineering, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge & Testing
