050074-Software Engineer Lead – Cloud SAP Basis Migration Specialist

 Role Summary: 
Capgemini is looking for high-caliber technologists who will deliver professional services in project implementation and integration of Cloud Services within the customer’s IT framework. Responsibilities include, among others, leading customers through the design process to leverage a wide range of Cloud services in their IT estate, working directly with Cloud solution architects, client architects, and Capgemini project teams to design a robust Cloud architecture and help manage customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have deep technology architecture consulting experience in customer-facing roles with deep Cloud experience. As a Cloud solution architect, you will be involved in designing and implementing Cloud based solutions. Good understanding of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure, VirtuStream, HEC or other cloud providers and their architecture is desirable.

– Basic qualifications
•Ability to develop the Cloud services portfolios like migration services.
•Ability to develop the plan, evaluate, and inject the new migration tools and methodologies.
•Support the Cloud services senior management on developing migration offerings.
•Own end-to-end build projects and closely work with customers and project managers
•Lead the Cloud migration team and provide a strong technical support to the team
•Evaluate the requirements and determine actionable tasks and effort estimates for build projects
•Perform operational readiness tasks and ensure production acceptance criteria are met
•Perform build and handover documentation for delivery/support teams and conduct handover workshops
•Prepare test plans and execute
•Perform capacity management / performance analysis
•The candidate should have a strong knowledge on Cloud concepts and Virtualization
oSolid experience on large scale VMware infrastructure with multi-tier networks and storage. 
oShould work on at least 3 recent versions VMware Virtualization Infrastructure.
oKnowledge on migration tools and migration methodologies
oKnowledge on other Hypervisor products are desirable
oShould have experience on automation and ability to write powercli scripts.
oKnowledge on vCloud Suite (1.5,5.1)
oGood knowledge on public Clouds like AWS, Azure
•The candidate should have thorough understanding and experience with the following core infrastructure technologies:
oStrong work experience on Windows and Linux Platform
oMicrosoft Active Directory 2003/2008
•Expertise on SMG Process Management
•Should have strong knowledge on servers / BladeCenters / BladeCenter modules and their management tools
•Strong knowledge on the enterprise storage, backup and network technologies

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Software Engineers perform requirements analysis.  They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

You are an experienced Software Engineer. You have received training and mastered at least one technology environment. You are good at elaborating technology areas and have an ability to position them within the scope of an overall project. You are a member of at least one community.

 

• Qualification: 3-7 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Should have or seeking SE Level 1.
• Should have progressing knowledge in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
