049921-Managing Delivery Architect – TIBCO Sr. Architect

  — Open to Any Hub/Spoke City in US —
Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.  Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

Required Skills and Experience:  You assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of programming personnel. Collaborate with computer manufacturers and other users to develop new programming methods. Supervise, train, mentor junior level programmers in programming and program coding. Represent team in project meetings.  Work with business and functional analysts, and software & solution architects in ensuring that programs and systems function as intended Supervise, mentor and manage large teams of programmers in one or more projects. Represent project teams in project/program meetings or in meetings with sponsor.  
–    Qualifications:  6-12 years’ experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
–    Must have experience in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
–    Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.    
–    Minimum of 5 years leading technology teams in development efforts that are governed by timeline, scope, and budget.
–    A minimum of 3 years of hands-on-experience architecting and delivering solutions related to enterprise integration, REST-ful APIs, service-oriented architecture, and legacy modernization.
–    Hands on design and architecture experience with latest versions of TIBO product stack is required such as TIBCO BW 6.3 and TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Enterprise Admin, TIBCO Hawk 5.2, TIBCO Managed File Transfer 8.0, TIBCO Policy Director 2, Tibco API Exchange 2.3.0, Tibco Adapter Plugins (ADB and SAP)
–    Ability to translate business requirements into a comprehensive, well-formed technical design.
–    Excellent written and verbal skills are essential. The candidate must possess the ability to speak intelligently to client teams to educate them on concepts related to TIBCO
–    Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems quickly. Ability to methodically step through problems to understand where the problem originates and how to best resolve it.
–    Understanding of architectural concepts for TIBCO implementations including encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability, clustering, and security.

 

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Delivery Architects assess a project’s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks.  They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

 

• You are responsible for designing and validating a complex architecture and ensuring its successful implementation.

• You should be able to identify and challenge several IT scenarios by taking into account the business environment.

• You work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in major client organizations.

• You lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence.

• You are seen as a role model in your community.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualification: Minimum 7 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Has TOGAF 9 and has IAF level 1 and is seeking level 2.

• Should be experienced in foundation, People Leadership, service & delivery.

• Should be proficient in client acquisition & development and business leadership.

• Should be masters in Technology Awareness & Leveraging and Innovation & Capability Growth.
