049896-Programmer/Developer Lead – Azure Infra/Migration with Cloudscape

Role and Responsibility Description:

Must have solid understanding of Azure Architecture to design a robust and secure environment within Azure using ExpressRoute, VPN(s) and Landing zones.

Must have support deploying & operating a Cloudscape installation; author reports and output from Cloudscape related to an enterprise cloud migration effort

Must have experience in supporting the cloud migration effort (on any issues related to Cloudscape or Cloudscape reports/output) as needed

Proficient in networking domain to interact with external business and application owners; as well as regular interaction with intra team functional, business, technical contacts related to server’s configuration and networks.

Support the process to track, review, and approve requested updates to the agreed migration schedule for Cloudscape related items such as and answer questions about

Must have experience in managing Azure identities governance, able to manage Active Directory users/groups/device settings. Experience in managing RBAC roles, resource groups, subscriptions and optimize Azure cost management.

Must have experience in deploying and managing Compute resources VMs (windows/Linux), Storage accounts and Web Apps, deploying AKS resource is a plus. Sound knowledge of Azure ARM and PowerShell scripts.

Must have experience in deploying and managing VNet, DNS, Gateway, VPN(s) and Azure Policies

Must have experience in Azure Monitor and Azure backups, analyzing and configure log-analytics, setting up alerts and actions.

Must have experience in troubleshooting and analyzing network systems to diagnose and identify root causes of the network-specific events during migration and testing efforts.

Inspect and secure Data Centers migrations by deploying our network stack with the help of automation tools like Ansible and Terraform or any deployment tool.

Capable of independent management of projects from design through implementation and ongoing monitoring including working closely with security architecture, security operations, and other operations teams within VMware.

Assess large, complicated cloud-hosted services to determine where security threats could take advantage of vulnerable configurations.

Good to have knowledge and experience with dealing with various components of VMWare.

Good to have experience in server discovery tool such as Zerto, Cloudamize, Device 42








BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding and / or systems engineering.

DevOps toolset knowledge – Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git

Coding beyond simple scripting using one or more of these programming languages / tools: Ansible, Python

Deep understanding of ITIL processes and systems, such ITSM (ServiceNow) is a strong plus.

Prior successful experience of working in an innovative, fast-paced startup with a high rate of delivery

 Experience with distributed systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with debugging and optimizing code, as well as automation.

Strong interpersonal skills, drive, and ownership.

High level of patience while working on the complex issues

Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.  Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.



Required Skills and Experience:



Write software programs using specific programming languages/platforms such as Java or MS .NET, and related tools, platform and environment. Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, and/or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions. Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Perform unit testing Assist in system and user testing Fix errors and bugs that are identified in the course of testing.



• Qualifications:  3-7 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role); Bachelor’s degree
• Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
• Should have progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
