The Cloud Infrastructure
Services Global Business Line is Capgemini’s consulting and infrastructure
build-and-run provisioning offering, and supports the group’s cloud-based
services. As part of the integrated cloud offering from Capgemini, Cloud
Infrastructure Services delivers a broad range of cloud services to build and
support the hybrid cloud estate by encompassing the leading public cloud
players and leading private cloud technologies. With EUR 1.5 billion annual
revenue, Cloud Infra Services helps clients virtualize and optimize their IT
estates through infrastructure outsourcing services such as data center,
helpdesk, network support, and service integration and service maintenance
support.  Our other services also include infrastructure transformation services-helping
clients consolidate and migrate entire workloads and data centers. 


Azure Architect


  • Proven
    experience as a Solution Architect or solution-oriented engineer combined with
    solid experience with Cloud offerings for Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Proven
    leadership in the Azure Cloud space, including product design, pre and post
    sales design and delivery standards and methodology
  • Understanding
    of Microsoft Azure Cloud services and architecture with capabilities in IaaS,
    cloud storage, IoT, and Storage Capabilities
  • Experience
    in a consultancy capacity to build and develop sustainable relationships with
    clients and team members, and delivering professional services as a Solution
  • Strong
    understanding of data-center technology, experience designing and planning data
    center migrations, and private and public cloud industry trends
  • Experience
    in the architecture, design and delivery of hybrid and public cloud solutions
  • Demonstrate
    ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, aggressive sales and revenue
    targets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge
    of toolsets appropriate for application and cloud infrastructure assessments
    performance, security, and capacity planning
  • PowerShell/MS
    toolset and modern development and operational methods (Agile, DevOps, etc.)
  • Thorough
    understanding of Azure cloud service offering (covering Azure Compute, Storage
    and Network).
  • Strong
    knowledge of Cloud security standards and principles including Identity and
    Access management in Azure.
  • Ability
    to analyze applications for Azure migration suitability
  • Ability
    to propose right target state on Azure considering cost, performance, and
  • Strong
    knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Azure cloud reference architecture and
    associated design patterns.
  • Experience
    in designing and architecting applications using latest as well as legacy
    Microsoft technology stack including ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web API, Classic ASP,
    VB6, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience
    designing solutions for high availability and disaster recovery on Azure.
  • Experience
    in large scale data center migration
  • Experience
    in using Azure migration tools




  • Knowledge
    of application level management models (including ERP)
  • Familiarity
    with typically encountered mainstream business applications and related
    software licensing standards
  • Knowledge
    of industry specific data restrictions, personally identifiable information
    restrictions and related security requirements with respect to public cloud
  • Exposure
    to financial models and solution quoting principles
  • Documenting
    and sharing leading practices and technical knowledge with product owners and
    the architect community
  • Knowledge
    of service monitoring, logging and reporting in a cloud environment
  • Detailed
    understanding of performance optimization and cost management in a cloud
