Job Description :
An experienced Program Manager that combines successful software development experiences with effective collaboration, facilitation and leadership skills. Provide direction for global mobile application development processes. Collaborate with retail operations and other application teams to deliver high quality enhancements and support for public-facing, top 10 mobile application.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
� Works with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and business objectives.
� Develop estimates, schedules for projects; including resource allocation, timelines and budget management.
� Manage team of 50+ employees
� Responsible for the development and delivery of the following work products: project scope definition, project plans, status reporting, overall project communication, resource allocation and budget.
� Work with other account leads to ensure that critical dependencies are met, including back-end systems, architecture, Product management, UI design, other application teams, also IT Operations, and Finance
� Cultivate relationships with domain experts spanning multiple functions and technology platforms.
� Conduct status meetings; develop status reports; track issues to resolution and assist with change control activities.
� Maintain current understanding and knowledge of project management, business relationship management, and development of best practices.
� Serve as a thought leader to the business and provide a consultative approach to the execution of initiatives.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required :
� Demonstrates advanced understanding of software development lifecycle management processes and procedures
� Demonstrates advanced understanding of iterative digital product development
� Demonstrates advanced understanding of project management capability with large, enterprise applications
� Understand backlog/release plan tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
� Familiarity with common Agile practices, mobile application development and engineering practices
� Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and written, with upper management, stakeholders and other external dependencies
� Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise wide, resource intensive and highly complex initiatives.
� Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings.
� Demonstrated analytical and creative problem solving skills.
� History of managing large teams (multiple layers of management) with significant elements.
� Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders for a positive outcome.
� Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
Education & Business Experience :
� Undergraduate degree required
� 10+ years total project management experience
� 5+ years experience project managing application for large scale businesses
� Proven Agile experience a must
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. A Project Manager usually has technical expertise in one or more other domains (e.g. a Project Manager with testing skills could perform a test manager function).
Required Skills and Experience:
You ensure that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of application solutions in response to client requirements, expressed in approved service requests. You are responsible for the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. You ensure that the project meets its deliverables in an agreed schedule, according to the scope, within stipulated budget, and to quality standards.
� 6 � 8 (2 years min relevant experience in the role) years of experience , Bachelor’s Degree
� Certification: Should have EM Level 1.
� Should be proficient in Negotiating, Vendor Management, Risk Management and Project Financials, KPI & Reporting
� Should have progressing skills Quality Management.
