Infrastructure and Network Security Architect

Activities

  • Assist with validation of strategy and technology
    roadmap for Network Security Architecture, assess, and deliver technical
    solutions, policies, standards for enterprise and manufacturing
    environment initiatives
  • Provide
    technical and full end-to-end project management aligned to roadmap
  • Assist with
    projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business
    as a recognized expert in Network Security and OT.
  • Help liaise
    between the business and Corporate for Network Security initiatives
  • Partner with
    multiple and teams to architect technology
    solutions that deliver cyber security controls for global sites
  • Deploy cyber
    security controls for protecting critical IT & OT assets placed at
    global sites including acquisitions
  • Help define and
    document reference architecture for securing Acquisition & Integration
    (A&I) sites globally
  • Execute and
    prioritize work to meet deadlines. Evaluate new threats, solutions and the
    impact on IT and Business operations
  • Assist with the
    development of enterprise network security process and standards
  • Work with
    customers and operations teams to define repeatable reference network
    security architectures
  • Help determine network security requirements and help prepare cost
    estimates by evaluating business strategies and requirements
  • Conduct system
    security and risk assessments, identifying security gaps and implementing
    enhancements
  • Assist with
    planning and coordination of the implementation of network security
    systems by working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare
    preventive and reactive measures, provide technical support and
    documentation

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on information technology
    experience
  • Minimum of 4
    years of hands-on information security experience
  • Ability and
    willingness to travel up to 25% as required

Desired Characteristics

  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-82, ICS-CIRT guidelines, SCADA
    control systems, SCADA firewalls’ configuration
  • Familiarity with
    DoE, NIST, & ISO security requirements
  • Experience with
    secure network architectures, identity and access management principles,
    application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web
    applications
  • Experience with
    firewall and intrusion detection / prevention technologies, secure coding
    practices and threat modeling
  • Broad background
    in the following areas: computer / OS security, network security, hardware
    security, firmware security, and embedded platform security
  • CISCO and/or
    Palo Alto Network certification 
  • Familiar with
    Palo Alto and/or CISCO Network infrastructure device (routers, switches,
    firewall)
  • Proven ability
    to deliver while under tight timelines
  • Demonstrate
    ability to proactively analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent
    communication skills including both verbal and written
  • Previous
    experience developing presentations
  • Proven ability
    to persuade and influence outcomes
