� Technical architects (Infrastructure) are also known as IT systems architects and act as the link between a company, its managers and the specialist designers and developers who built the IT system. Technical architect jobs often involve working with large organisations, planning or redesigning IT systems to ensure they function correctly and operate as expected. Key responsibilities include ensuring that every aspect of the IT system works as planned, that the organisation�s requirements are completely satisfied and that the system meets the needs of those who will be using it.

duties include:

� determining what an organisation needs

� analysing the requirements of large systems and breaking them down into manageable units

� researching available products to decide if they will be suitable for the project rather than building a completely new system

� discussing plans for the structure of the system with the client

� working with designers and developers to explain the structure and assisting them throughout the assembly process

� ensuring that systems are working properly by carrying out testing procedures

� ensuring that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures

� working with senior IT managers on planning for an organisation�s future IT requirements

Responsibilities

� Should have 14 years of IT experience and minimum 8-10 years of experience in Infrastructure

� Experience in creating and maintaining end-to-end solution architecture documentation including multiple architecture domains

� Solid experience with architectural frameworks like TOGAF

� Able to lead a team of leads (e.g. Infra, Network, Security, User Experience, Cloud, Database, etc.) to design and implement architecture by working closely with the team

� Able to justify and get the buy-in from the client Architecture Review Board (ARB) for the proposed end-to-end enterprise grade platform architecture

� Extensive solution architect experience, owning end-to-end solution architecture spanning multiple applications/platforms/ services/ modules and multiple architecture domains including

Application, Technical, Data and Infra architecture

� Great technology breadth to know capabilities of varied technologies and their applicability to specific solutions/problems

� Guiding solution design across project/platform teams driving consensus and resolving conflicts

� Able to come out with new innovative ideas that possibly can add value to customer�s business and technology

� A deep understanding of architecture and design patterns at various levels. Experience into providing cloud based integrated solutions

� Collaborate with clients and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical requirements

� Assist with estimating work efforts required for each phase of a project

� Knowledge of middleware application servers such as JBoss and WebSphere

� Experience with object-oriented design and development techniques; understanding of development best practices

� Able to work with onsite/ offshore technical team

Other Additional Skills

� Familiarity with Cloud Computing using MS Azure or AWS

Infrastructure Technical Architect

Delivery Architects assess a project�s technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks.  They are responsible for designing and implementing a project�s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. The scope of the Delivery Architect�s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Delivery Architect needs to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. This includes the Software Architect.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

 

� You are responsible for designing and validating a complex architecture and ensuring its successful implementation.

� You should be able to identify and challenge several IT scenarios by taking into account the business environment.

� You work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in major client organizations.

� You lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence.

� You are seen as a role model in your community.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

� Qualification: Minimum 7 years experience, Bachelor�s Degree.

� Certification: Has TOGAF 9 and has IAF level 1 and is seeking level 2.

� Should be experienced in foundation, People Leadership, service & delivery.

� Should be proficient in client acquisition & development and business leadership.

� Should be masters in Technology Awareness & Leveraging and Innovation & Capability Growth.
