The Sitecore Architect is responsible for leading, planning, and coordinating with project teams developing on Sitecore, and for orchestrating changes to the Sitecore platform. This ideal candidate ensures the high-quality solutions in order to meet business needs that enable Capgemini teams to sustain and grow our presence thru sound technological leadership. Specifically, the Architect understands and contributes to the Sitecore strategy for assigned accounts and ensures that all projects are appropriately attuned to the strategy, as well as facilitate implementations and assist with troubleshooting issues. Should have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, Sitecore best practices, and retain the ability to implement and execute standard software architecture practices.
� Drive technology architecture. Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.� Provide architectural assessments and roadmaps� Lead projects within architecture. Work with IT and Business people to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.� Solution estimation and team structure definition� Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production� Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.� Drive a common architectural point of view across teams, and support outcomes.� Produce client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, and ensure all deliverables are of the highest quality � Assist our teams with problem resolution.
� 10+ years of IT industry experience� 8+ years of consulting experience� 8+ years in Microsoft .Net Development� Knowledgeable of Solr� Knowledgeable of Tomcat� Some knowledgeable of Apache a plus� 5+ years technical team leadership or management experience� Ability to travel to the customer location� Must have legal right to work in the US� Experienced at leading Sitecore migrations� Demonstrable expertise in Sitecore CMS� Should have deep technical skills with websites and be capable of serving as a subject matter expert� Sitecore certification a must� Strong presentation skills and command of oral/written English
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment. � 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor�s Degree.
� Certification: SE level 1 and seeking level 2.
� Must have experience in Package Configuration.
� Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
