The Market Development Executive (MDE) will be part of a direct sales team within the Digital Customer Experience (DCX).
The MDE will target selling efforts towards new client capture (�new logos�) as well as existing Capgemini Market Unit (MU) accounts, when assigned.
The MDE will identify, capture and close opportunities for consulting, technology and business services into DCX prospects and customers within an assigned Practice, Market Unit (aka MU, or Sector), and/or geography.
The MDE will target solution selling into C-level relationships in Middle-Market and/or Enterprise level opportunities as assigned. MDEs will collaborate with MU sales and account representatives, DCX marketing initiatives and DCX alliance representatives on opportunity development and closure. The individual in question must be comfortable working within a matrix environment from a reporting and resource perspective.
The MDE will directly report to a Practice Leader within DCX, together with reporting into a Sales Leader for consistency in sales process and reporting.

Indirect Reports: Yes (manage cross-functional pursuit teams during sales cycle)
The ideal candidate should be located in a centrally located NA major metro area. The MDE will be NA focused and will be assigned a multi-state territory. There is a high degree of travel associated with this role.
�Selling the aforementioned solution sets to new and existing accounts as assigned
�Originating and qualifying leads via channel partners, cold-calling, networking, Social media, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with C level executives within targeted markets and sectors
�The primary focus and objective will be to develop new business in new accounts and buying centers within assigned accounts
�Develop and qualify leads into pursuits
�Collaborate with Alliance and Marketing staff in the development of new leads
�Build a network and relationship with strategic partner sales staff to develop leads and nurture opportunities
�Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities until closure
�Leverage knowledge of industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions
�Lead and motivate sales pursuit teams
�Assist in the assessment, design, and development of technical requirements and solutions in targeted opportunities
�Lead pursuit teams in the development of project proposals, employ data gathering techniques and analysis in order to present proposed solutions to prospects
�Make significant contributions to the local team and the company sales culture
�Follow NA sales processes and procedures; contribute to the enhancement of sales processes wherever possible
�Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
