Job Description:•Automotive domain experience at least 5 years.•Experience with Instrument Panel Cluster validation. •Knowledge and experience of Component/Sub-System/Vehicle Testing. •Knowledge or experience of validation of different features of Instrument Panel Cluster and Infotainment, Telltale/Chime/Message Center/Warning/Control Function (Cluster) and Bluetooth/Navigation/Phone/AM/FM (Infotainment)etc. •Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and AGILE models. •Experience with CANOe or Vehicle Spy is needed and capturing the logs.•Knowledge of CANALYZER and dSPACE will be plus.•Defect reporting and log analysis.•Experience with any Vehicle Diagnostic Tool will be plus•Automotive Domain Processes knowledge•Experience with CATT and Auto-CATT tool of Capgemini will be plus. •Creation of Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts and project related documentation for QA.•Experience with all the stages of Defect Tracking Life Cycle (DTLC). •Knowledge of any scripting language like Python.
Software Engineers perform requirements analysis. They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
You are learning and developing the knowledge, technical skills and core consulting behaviors required to succeed in Application Services. You learn to perform requirements analysis, you learn an appropriate methodology and one programming/development language, database or application environment. You demonstrate flexibility and versatility in meeting objectives and should be able to manage your workload and update management on task progress. You work under the direction of a more senior Software Engineer and will become responsible for the delivery of specific functionality for a given solution.
• Qualification: Minimum 1-3 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Should have baseline skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
