Responsibilities:
• Review functional specifications to ensure completeness in preparation for development of custom objects
• Manages multiple assignments while concurrently fulfilling on-going application support and maintenance responsibilities.
• Works with internal and external technical resources to implement approved changes.
• Collaborates with other analysts to ensure system and procedural changes have minimum impact on other application areas
• Documents system changes and results per systems development life cycle requirements and audit guidelines.
• Creates specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming language
• Advises other IT staff on internal development procedures and standards and ABAP development best practices
• Assist business analysts in the development and maintenance of training materials and reference guides
 
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field – or – equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience working with SAP ABAP and SAP ABAP OO
• 5+ years of experience working with SAP tables, structures and related objects
• 3+ years of experience developing SAP RFCs and working with BAPIs for external interfaces.
• 3+ years of experience developing Web Services within SAP and consuming external Web Services to SAP
• 5+ years of experience developing reports in SAP
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think critically
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Experience working with WebDynpro preferred
• Experience working with IDOCs preferred
• Experience developing and modifying SAP forms preferred, including SmartForms, Layout sets and Adobe forms
• Experience working with SAP Workflow preferred
 
 
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
