Vice President of Talent Development:
VP of Talent Development will be accountable for leading all aspects of the end-to-end talent development for Capgemini across all lines of business in North America. Candidate will provide overall talent programs design, strategy, thought leadership, and execution support. Will play an active contribution to the Global Talent Community. In addition, the VP of Talent Development will be expected to work closely with all HR leaders across the enterprise as collaborative partners to achieve HR Program goals. Candidate must be a strategic and innovative thinker who has built and lead a successful talent development organization.
Primary responsibilities of the role include:
� Consult with HR business partners, and other key stakeholders to assess current programs and organizational development needs for each line of business
� Develop and deploy new and innovative solutions and programs designed to continually enhance the knowledge and growth of employees
� Build strategy and process for promotion, progression and succession planning through continuous talent reviews
� Ensure that employee development programs continue to evolve by role, level and skill and are aligned to the needs of the business by increasing productivity and engagement
� Lead efficient and effective performance management programs that align with the business, which include integration of best practices
� Continuous focus on overall Talent data and analytics (pyramids, trends, contexts, etc.) and provide talent performance measures to gauge organizational and talent effectiveness
� Focus on building Professional Communities, Employee Engagement, Rewards and Recognition
� Evolve and implement Leadership Model and Leadership Journey
� Work in close alliance with Learning and Development on L&D strategy
� Forecast and Drive appropriate development plans to create, or re-create Re-skilling and up-skilling programs to address talent gaps
Must be able to:
� Manage small and large teams across multiple business lines
� Coordinate and collaborate efforts across various parts of the organization in areas that are not necessarily fully under one�s functional control
� Focus on organizing and optimizing all efforts to enable delivery efficiency of talent programs
� Work well in local and international environments
� 15+ years of relevant talent development leadership experience with 5+ years in a multi-cultural global environment, to include working for a Professional Services/Management Consulting Organization
� Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic organization with a focus on technology
� Extensive experience and demonstrated success developing, designing and executing talent development programs and strategies across various functional disciplines
� Experience implementing large scale organizational change strategies and initiatives
� Ability to understand business strategies and translate them into actionable and compelling talent development initiatives
� Collaborative and influential in partnering with HR Business Partners as well as Executive Business Leaders
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
