OPENSHIFT ENGINEER – Senior Consultant Level
2-3 years’ experience implementing the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
Proven experience with OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with RHEL 7
Knowledge of major Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure
2-3 years of Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise environment
1-2 years working with containerized application deployment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with remote teams and communicate the priorities.
Base Tools: OpenShift, Openstack, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker and Jenkins
Good working knowledge of at least one Source control system – Git, Stash, SVN etc.
AWS or Azure Certification a plus
Object Oriented Language Knowledge a plus
OpenShift Administration Certification a definite plus
Required Skills:
Experience with Multi-container Pod Design patterns
Deployment and rolling updates, rollbacks
Jobs and Cronjobs
PersistentVolumeClaims for storage
Logging, Debugging, monitoring applications in Kubernetes
Define and Implement an OpenShift environment for deployment of containerized applications.
Develop and implement CI/CD pipeline for on-going application deployment
Work with the business and infrastructure teams to define goals, timelines and implementation strategy.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
