Job Description:

Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Senior Security Consultant based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs; Communicate with clients to understand specific system requirements; Evaluate existing infrastructure systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet the organizational requirements; Be responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical and security architecture; Define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation; Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components; Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems; Provide customers and installation teams guidelines for implementing secure infrastructure systems; Design and conduct hardware or software tests; Build design and execute the analysis and tools required to drive process improvements across a sector, major account, group of high value accounts or a business domain; Direct others in the use of techniques to analyze and resolve security issues; Monitor systems operations/infrastructure to detect potential problems; Establish functional or system standards to address operational requirements, quality requirements and design constraints; Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes; Communicate project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papers; Ensure that a service line, major account, group of significant accounts or major business domain has the advice and training that it needs to ensure the highest security standards of compliance and performance; Drive security, process development and improvement initiatives, ensure the creation of compliant security plans, improvement plans and improvement actions, ensure adequate audit coverage and that a corrective action / preventive action process is applied; Act as an escalation point for security issues and ensures reliable reporting of security matters; and, Work with team members to support security incident investigation process responsible for troubleshooting agent software issues.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or a closely-related field plus at least 7 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as a Security Architect, Technical Architect, Senior Development Lead, Software Architect, Senior Integration Lead, or a related IT position. The applicant must also have professional experience with: Any period of professional experience designing and implementing project’s technical and security architecture; Any period of professional experience performing security analysis, process development, and improvement initiatives; Any period of professional experience working with products such as Sun Identity Manager, Sailpoint Identity IQ and Oracle to design solutions for application security; Any period of professional experience working with programming languages such as Java, SailPoint Bean Shell scripting and Oracle PLSQL for implementation of the designed technical solution; and Any period of professional experience working with configuration management tools such as Github, Teamcity, Rally to manage the code repository, track design and coding tasks and deploy the solution to development and production environments.
