Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Project Lead based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: ensure delivery of programs within budget and on time while meeting client requirements; oversee the development and technical deliverables; initialize, plan, execute, and close programs and projects; build client relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, provide project leadership, and leverage project management tools; estimate scope of the work, project size, effort, schedule and cost of the project; create staffing plan and manage resources in PPM Tool; responsible for Sprint Planning using JIRA tool, Stand-up meetings, Product Backlog creation, burn down charts, and Sprint Retrospective; ensure that Code Quality activities are carried out using tools such as PMD, Check Stile, Find Bugs, and EMMA; perform risk analysis, manage risks, and coordinate issue resolution activities using project risks/issue register or SharePoint; develop test strategy and test plan for both manual and automation testing projects; create WBS and project schedule using MS-Project tool; oversee unit, system, integration, UAT, performance, security, business continuity, and post production validation testing activities; ensure timely deployment of product into production environment; and escalate issues to management as required to effectively manage the project deliverables.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as Software Engineer, Programmer, Systems Analyst, or related IT position. In the alternative, the employer will accept 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as Software Engineer, Programmer, Systems Analyst, or related IT position. The applicant must also have: 1) any period of experience creating WBS and project schedule using MS-Project tool; 2) any period of experience in developing test strategy/plan and performing validation/testing of applications using manual and automation testing techniques/tools, including Quick Test Pro (QTP), Load Runner, Selenium, SeeTest, Perfecto, ALM or Quality Center; 3) any period of experience managing application development projects using technologies, including Java, J2EE, Web Services (SOAP/REST), WebLogic, Mobile (IOS/Android), Unix, and Mainframe; 4) any period of experience utilizing programming languages, including C, C++, Unix Shell Scripting, VB scripting, and AUTOLISP; and 5) any period of experience utilizing project/program/management tools, including MS-Project, JIRA, Team Foundation Server, and SharePoint, and defect tracking tools, including ALM or Quality Center.
