SACM Manager 1- Software License

We are looking for a Software License Asset Manager


The focus of your role within Capgemini, what you do:

Researching licensing terms and conditions for software products in order to report license compliance positions to the customers. Understand the data that is required to be collected in order to calculate the positions for SW that has licensing terms based on metrics other than installation only. We will be assisting customers to understand the reported positions so that they may use the tools we provide to mitigate any discovered non-compliance positions. Per the roles and responsibilities outlined in the lifecycle process to maintain the CMDB, Registers and/or ensures registration of new Assets / Configuration Items (CIs); Assist in the Audits of the CMDB as planned in the Audit Schedule to ensure accuracy – via physical or auto-scans; proactively identifying discrepancies and driving same to closure to maintain accuracy of the CMDB and enforce SACM / Change Management process and policies; Assists the SACM Manager & Software License and Compliance Leader in conducting Quality Assurance over the Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) process and policies; Assisting in SACM Service Level Agreement reporting, both operational and ad-hoc reports as required and agreed; Follows and champions SACM process & technology standards; Works closely with the Change Managers to ensure that CI changes / updates are reflected in the CMDB in a timely manner. ServiceNow Software Asset Management Develop and analyze functional requirements for systems implementations and convert the functional requirements into ServiceNow SAM solution. Perform quality reviews to ensure requirements are documented properly. Will help with reviewing and interpreting the customer contract/ statements of works for SAM Delivery requirements, will work with the Capgemini delivery, Procurement and Finance teams, customer and customer 3rd parties, to derive and provide SAM requirements. Helps provides leadership and direction to ensure I.T. Asset Management processes, policies, and procedures are in place to meet regulatory, operational, audit and reporting requirements related to Software Asset Management. Administer the I.T. Software Asset Management program including processing, reconciling, auditing and correcting I.T. asset transfer documentation. Facilitate the business’ needs for ongoing technical support and upgrade protection on selected products by ensuring that maintenance, support and upgrade protection renewals are managed/handled/ordered in advance of their expirationIdentify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services. Follow through with vendors and customer to obtain identified savings.
