Job Description:
SAP Team Member will work on SAP FICO enhancements. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced team atmosphere and to work with client personnel at various levels effectively is critical.

Additional Tasks / Responsibilities:
– Provide functional direction to the project team
– Interface with functional BPOs to define the business processes and requirements that will be enabled by SAP
– Manage the team’s deliverables to the project schedule
– Identify critical project solutions and escalates issues to program management
– Interface with external consultants for third level support as necessary to deliver service to the business
– Works with cross-functional groups in the program to identify and develop solutions to business issues and opportunities in their area of expertise.
– Defines functional / technical requirements for change requests and interfaces with the development team for completion
– Supports the development of training materials and documentation, as well as provides training sessions as required
– Participates in the process integration and user acceptance testing (to include role testing).
– Supports SAP upgrades and testing
– Supports and helps develop power users in the business
– Possesses the ability to organize activities, set priorities and handle multiple tasks
– Proposes team structure and candidates for the project team members
– Supports needed audit and compliance efforts

The SAP FI Team Member requires and knowledge of accounting business processes and the following FI module configuration experience including but limited to:

General Ledger (GL):
• Chart of Accounts and GL Account design / configuration
• Open Item Clearing Configuration and Design of GL Accounts
• Company Code definition and business design
• Leading / Parallel Ledger configuration
• FX Currency revaluation
• Split Ledger Configuration
• Financial Statement Version Configuration
• Period End configuration: reclassification, carry forward configuration, company code consolidations etc.

Accounts Payable (AP):
• Vendor Master Configuration (Account Groups, field status, etc.)
• Withholding Tax Configuration
• Payment Term Configuration
• Payment Workbench Configuration
• Payment Output Configuration (check form, EFT/ACH/Wire files, Payment Remittance advice)
• Down Payment Configuration

Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Customer Master Configuration (Account Groups, field status, etc.)
• Payment Term Configuration
• EBS Payment Configuration
• Down Payment Configuration
• Dunning Configuration and Form (Letters)

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
