Job Description and Skills required are:
Works with other members of the graphics team, proposal team, as well as members of the Solutions and Sales teams to create compelling graphic designs for proposals and PowerPoint presentations. Additionally, works with these same teams on all other aspects of development and production of customer proposals and assists in marketing efforts. In all aspects, ensures that proposals are compelling and focused on the client’s specific needs and requirements.
Principal Duties:
1. Designs and produces client-focused computer-generated graphics, charts, tables, multi-media graphics and text material for visual presentation or import into proposal document. Helps team develop themes for major proposals and develops graphical “look and feel” around those themes, working within the corporate design standards.
2. Coordinates design and development of PowerPoint presentations to summarize key points of proposal as well as capture look/feel/tone, to assist sales, after the proposal document has been submitted.
3. Creates other presentation handouts (flyers, brochures) and specialty items for the presentation stage.
4. Researches and obtains customer specific information to customize the proposal documents to reflect the messages or ideas key to the customer.
5. Actively participates in relevant meetings and calls regarding the project overall. Debriefs proposal team on information and intelligence gathered.
6. Potentially manages the overall production process and development of a proposal document, or be prepared to give advice on how to best complete the printing process. Maintains responsibility for the proposal document from message of value creation, content delivery, light editing/formatting.
7. Coordinates a thorough review of the final proposal documents for final submittal ensure consistency, accuracy and completeness.
8. Performs other sales graphic related duties and projects as assigned
9. Availability to work a shifted schedule (e.g. 9am – 6pm or 10am – 7 pm Central Standard Time)
1. A minimum of five years’ experience as a graphic designer in a marketing or proposal development department.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
3. Industry experience with graphic design/proposals required. Project Management experience a “plus.”
4. Excellent editing, graphic design skills.
5. Self-directed, and able to manage fast-paced, complex projects against tight deadlines, with a “can do attitude.”
6. Handle multiple projects, interface with clients and prospects, and deliver superior proposal documents.
7. Proactive, collaborative and team-oriented.
8. Must have advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design.
9. Relevant industry knowledge and Flash skills a plus.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
