Senior SAP basis administrator that must have SAP HANA and SAP Sybase database skills with hands in order to support the client onsite at their Minneapolis MN offices

This person will serve in a client-facing lead capacity with a major SAP Hosting client in Minnesota. He/she will be our on-site representative at the client, supporting our multi-year service level agreement.

This position is responsible for the management of all areas of SAP Basis; SAP architecture, reporting to management of performance, and upgrades; correction and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling, Early watch and Go-live checks, OSS note research and application, SAPGUI deployment, resolve tickets with the Help Desk, application server load balancing, printer troubleshooting and spool administration, daily system checks (CCMS), disaster recovery testing, and performance tuning.

Lead Basis administrators on the performance, reliability and availability of the SAP systems in alignment with industry standards.

Works with functional teams the client-instance and transport strategy for all SAP environments for implementations and projects as well as ongoing operations.

Directs the disaster recovery processes according to specifications agreed to by the business for key company SAP systems.

Responsible for the formulation and realization of performance goals as related to SAP systems.

Lead activities associated with SAP production control and coordination including planning, scheduling, input/output control, job setup, standards, etc.

Works with others in the company in order to solve technical issues. Establishes and monitors escalation of problems.

Evaluates trend analysis to detect long term performance problems and prevent performance degradation.

Manage processes for the proper management of SAP including incident, change, and problem management

Manage SAP client copies, system copies, imports / exports, and transports as needed.

Manage project planning and execution for major activities such as software upgrades, software configuration changes and hardware upgrade or replacement.

Develop plans and schedules the development, introduction, communication and maintenance of the SAP systems architecture including the applications and infrastructure architectures and assures that this architecture is integrated with the application road maps and strategies.

Create strategy on infrastructure products and new technology for all levels of management and technical staff

At least 7 years managing enterprise environments. Must have experience both installing and e in ECC 6.0 or greater, HANA, SAP BW, PI, and Enterprise Portal. This should include leadership of technical installations in these areas.

Must have managed a few major system upgrades.

Significant experience in at least 2 other SAP systems. This should include CRM, SRM, SCM /, Business Objects BI (BOBJ),and  Solution Manager.
