Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Project Manager 4 based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization; lead either a large project or a definable segment of a very large and complex project; oversee various streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction; responsible for translation of client’s complex business requirements into formal agreements; establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results; work with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the client’s solution; and responsible for a wide range of process activities, including request for proposal, development, and final delivery.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 7 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as Program Manager, Engagement Manager, or related IT position. The applicant must also have: any period of professional experience overseeing project operations including project planning, organizing, staffing, forecasting, and project financial management; any period of professional experience overseeing all aspects of system implementation, including requirements gathering, future state solution design, development of objects related to their process scope, and testing and post implementation support; any period of professional experience performing gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development of project planning; any period of professional experience performing full life cycle project implementations; any period of professional experience guiding team of resources, including Consultants or Vendors; any period of professional experience with project management tools, including MS Project or Clarity; and any period of professional experience providing guidance to internal or external stakeholders.
