Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Applications Consultant 1 based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: perform software-specific design and realization; perform testing/ deployment/release management, and/or technical and functional application management of package based solutions, including SAP or ORACLE; build solutions and maintain/optimize/ improve client’s applications and systems; customize the respective Software Package Core Module; and assist in research, data analysis, and implementation for client projects.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 1 year of experience in the job offered, as Management Consultant, Systems Analyst, or related IT position. The applicant must also have any period of experience performing business software analysis, design, configuration, testing and support in packages, including SAP, ORACLE, NetSuite, JDA, Salesforce, or Microsoft; Any period of experience performing full life cycle project implementations, including project blueprint, realization, go-live, and post go-live support; Any period of experience performing gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development; and any period of experience performing functional integration or regression testing in a selected package.
