Capgemini America, Inc. (Sogeti Division) has multiple positions, various levels in Chicago, IL and various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
Duties: Coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate and execute a project or collection of projects; perform overall project planning and initiation activities; handle project technical issues, change and release management, and risk management issues; understand and document functional, non-functional and user based requirements given by the relevant stakeholders; communicate clear requirements from the business team to the technical team; facilitate workshops between business and technical teams; prepare user stories with valid acceptance criteria and scenarios; prepare activity flow diagrams and sequence diagrams of user stories; define and prioritize scope as per the business needs of the buyer group; perform functional testing of individual features; define and schedule the project plan and perform the resource utilization activities with the help of senior management; prepare and submit the effort tracking report and burn report to management; assist team in resolving technical issues with respect to the project and providing the best solution to the customers; deliver programs which required multiple features to be delivered across multiple teams; maintain Infrastructure needs for the application; perform mock Disaster Recovery exercises; perform agile ceremonies such as product backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint stand up, sprint demo and retrospective; and handle release deliveries, deployment planning and execution.
Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following: Technical Project Management in MS technology projects; Microsoft Project Plan, UML , MS Team Foundation Studio, JIRA and MS Visio; leading co-located scrum teams in an Agile Environment; leading onshore and offshore support teams for an enterprise application; project planning, including budgets, project documentation, scope and schedule; leading teams that assume responsibility for strategy and development, including systems and application development, vendor management and legacy systems integration; collaborating with IT management and IT team members to translate corporate/functional business and information objectives into an IT strategic/tactical business plan. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
