Business Analyst 2 – Project Manager – Restaurant Technology Infrastructure

Key responsibilities include:

Concurrent Project Management for multiple projects, including, but not limited to planning, development, testing, & deployment for:
Server operating systems such as Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016.
POS device operating systems such as POS Ready 7 and Windows 10 IOT.
Server-centric initiatives such as KVS Zero and HTML POS.
Cross-functional coordination with project stakeholders. Including, but not limited to: Global IT, US Restaurant Technology Operations, Supplier Management, Support, QA, Deployment, and POS development.
Weekly reporting on project and deployment status (written & verbal)
Ensure that technical knowledge is documented and distributed to stakeholders.
Cross-functional coordination between Project Managers and RTI resources to manage development and testing required for projects managed by other teams.
End-to-end management of development & deployment process for new OS staging scripts and image updates.
Ensure that process is followed and manage coordination with stakeholders
Oversee deployment process and address issues
Work with the RTI Hardware Certification team. Provide input and direction based on knowledge from current projects and stakeholder coordination.
Hands-on and onsite work with hardware and software technology as–needed:
Lab equipment setup; troubleshoot reported issues on lab equipment
Attend restaurant & trade show installations to provide direction and assistance
Coordinate setup of equipment for demonstration purposes
Required qualifications:
3+ years of Project Management experience
Experience managing projects that include IT hardware, software, and remote deployments
Understanding of both Waterfall & Agile project management methodologies
Ability to adjust to rapidly shifting priorities
Exceptional people skills. Exceptional written & verbal communication skills.
Strong documentation skills (e.g. requirements & project status reporting)
Ability to simplify technical messages depending on the audience
High-level understanding of IT hardware and various operating systems
Basic understanding of ITIL framework
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

Desired qualifications:

Familiarity with restaurant topologies and operations
PMP or PMI-ACP certification
ITIL Foundation certification (or above)

Business Analysts enable the transformation and performance improvement of an enterprise or its parts, with respect to people, process and technology, by providing relevant capabilities, assets (human and non-human), processes and tools (from both a technical & functional aspect). Business Analysts structure, analyze and visualize an enterprise’s current state; design and visualize the future state; and design and guide the change process from current to future state. Developing sector knowledge is of foremost importance for all Business Analysts. Technical analysts can specialize in ERP, Application Management or Custom Software Development (CSD). Functional analysts can specialize in Strategy Execution, Business Process Transformation or Change Management.

Required Skills and Experience:

You are a self-reliant analyst who has mastered at least one methodology. You are developing your knowledge in a business and/or industry domain and an ERP solution or a technical tool / programming language. Possible positions could include being a Business Process Consultant describing processes, Requirements Analyst describing business / functional requirements or Package configuration.

Candidates should be flexible/willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

• Qualification: Minimum 3 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: Acquire BA Level 1.

• Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Package Configuration and Change Management.

• Should have baseline skills in Functional Architecture Design and Architecture Knowledge.
