As part of the Capgemini Technology Services Group, the Consultant will be responsible for the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement functional solutions. This person will work closely with our clients and must demonstrate individual functional and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. This person will also apply project management expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for clients. As an SAP Supply Chain consultant you will participate on SAP implementation & rollout projects or SAP support & maintenance projects within logistics functional area. Based on user requirements analysis you will prepare functional design and specifications, system configuration, perform relevant testing and deployment of the designed business solution. Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge. Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
2 – 5+ year’s functional experience with SAP ECC Materials Management and S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement and one or more additional SAP Supply Chain areas/modules
1 – 3+ years knowledge of integration points and the order in which these must be executed
1 -3+ years’ experience working with current SAP Configuration
1 – 3+ years’ experience working with design or blueprint, implementation, and support of knowledge management solutions and related technologies for collaborative information sharing
1 – 3+ Full Life Cycle (FLC) large project implementations
SAP certification(s) preferred
Experience working with Solution Manager and SAP ACTIVATE methodology is a plus
1 – 3+ years in a Delivery role leading an SAP team desired for Manager’s and above
1 – 3+ years’ experience with client facing consulting engagements, including design or blueprint workshop facilitation
Proven experience managing and leading small to large teams for Senior Consultants and above
Extensive experience within management consulting or consulting services (Big 4 preferred)
Understanding of end to end process and integration with focus on Procure to Pay, including master data, operational procurement, collaborative sourcing and contract management, invoices and payables management, supplier management, strategic sourcing, procurement planning, procurement analytics and inventory management.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong executive presence and ability to interact with CxO level
Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications
With their expertise in a specific technology environment, Applications Consultants are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE). These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.
Required Skills and Experience:
You focus on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a client’s applications and systems. You contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Core Module. You may also be responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, and/or be responsible for the design and delivery of end-user training.
• Qualification: Minimum 3 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Should have or seeking SE or ERP/SAP Level 1.
• Should be proficient in Package Configuration.
• Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management
