• Drive test automation development 

• Participate in assessment and  automation solution development 

• Facilitate test case analysis from automation and productivity point of view

• Analyze current test automation practices, techniques and tools

• Recommend improvement in test automation practices, techniques and tools

• Recommend test environment setup and service virtualization strategies 

• Work with test automation COE in developing test automation solution

• Update knowledge base with test automation lessons learned, best practices, technology papers, etc.

• Participate in test estimation reviews

• Drive automation  test development, test design, test execution and defect management

•  Specifying and establishing and managing development and test environments and test data

• Define, develop and track metrics for test automation

RoI Specification / Skills / Experience: 

• Extensive consulting experience in test automation and test transformation

• Deep knowledge with mobile/digital testing and test automation

• 10+  years in Testing automation consulting 

• Knowledge of multiple Industry standard and open source test automation tools 

• Experience in selecting / designing and implementing test automation frameworks

• Experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for automation projects

• Knowledge of  Agile, DevOps and Service Virtualization 

• Solid understanding of development, application management, and testing methodologies

• Experience in multiple types of testing (e.g., Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT).

• Proven and verifiable track record in successfully leading test automation projects

• Knowledge of and experience in productivity improvement using test automation

• Knowledge of estimating test services at proposal stage

• Experience in reviewing test services estimations and risk management plans

• Up-to-date knowledge of test automation trends, technologies, methods, etc.

• Proven experience in improving productivity of test team using test automation

• Good communication skills

• Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision

Secondary Skills (Nice to have):

• Experience in performance testing

• Experience in test environment management

Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process.

Testing is carried out in each phase:

  • The requirements are tested by an acceptance test
  • The system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test
  • The programs by a program and module test

Required Skills and Experience:

You are learning and developing the knowledge, technical skills and core consulting behaviors required to succeed in Application Services.

You are responsible under general supervision for the definition and execution of test scripts and accurate reporting of results, to ensure that the delivered solution meets specification.

You develop competence in specific areas of testing through training, development and experience.

You demonstrate flexibility and versatility in meeting objectives and should be able to manage your workload and update management on task progress.

• Qualification: Minimum 3 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Should have baseline skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Testing Management, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.
