At least 10 years IT industry work experience.

A strong background in Audit, compliance and assurance, quality, risk and a solid understanding of what constitutes good practice.

Experience in people management and proven ability to lead teams.

Experience of having managed an audit programme of work.

Experience of having managed and executed audits.

Experience of having managed an audit team and audit pool of resources.

Ability to read complex contractual agreements and extract elements and interpret them from a quality assurance perspective.

An industry recognised Auditor Certification e.g. ISACA or equivalent ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1 certified auditor

Good knowledge of ISO 31000, ITIL, COBIT.

Good knowledge of Project Management Methodologies

A strong background in Infrastructure Services, Technical Infrastructure, Cloud, SIAM and experience in Application Services.

Strong commercial, financial, and contractual acumen.

Experience working in a global distributed delivery model.

Having very good interpersonal skills to manage relationships at all levels of the organisation.

Knowledge of security and environmental sustainability standards a plus

Good knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE 3402/SSAE 16) a plus

Self directed and self motivated to do what’s needed. That  is, take ownership of quality and audit management for the North American region.

Proactively taking on the tasks and activities to ensure the highest possible quality can be delivered.

Resolution and objectives oriented. 

Hands on approach to getting things done, to implement quality improvements, rather than assigning or delegating actions to others.

An interest in process improvement and the sensible use of metrics.
