Position Background:

Capgemini is actively seeking a Program Manager to lead its Group Strategic Bets (GSB) program which includes strategic and operations management of large initiatives with involving key IT partners. The primary objective of this program is to support Capgemini’s transformation toward Cloud and Digital and rotate its portfolio of offerings. In this context, the role is focused on Governance and management of steering cadence, ensuring best practices sharing and consistency across streams and Communication Management.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

Minimum 8 years’ experience in Consulting or Program Management Office.

Ability to think tactically and strategically while leading cross functional teams in a matrix environment.

Ability to manage complex project delivery activities ensuring all business change in an organization is handled in a controlled way.

Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including exposure to senior leadership.

Experience of all aspects of solution launch a plus (solution development, marketing, pipeline development, capability building etc).

Good knowledge of Capgemini global organization a plus.

Knowledge of partnering a plus.

Bachelors or Master’s degree and/or appropriate industry certifications.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and align each GSB. Define minimum requirements including organization, sponsors, governance and best practices.

Provide relevant and accurate information to support effective GSB decision-making by stakeholders, including senior management. Lead and participate in GSB SWOT analysis.

Develop and manage robust GSB communications plan. Ensure efficient GSB communication to different stakeholder communities, including senior management. Ensure decisions are made by the right people, based on the right information. Coordinate GSB communication between AMSI and CMA’s. Coordinate GSB requests to the SBUs and Global Services Lines to avoid having the same requests being made from different areas in the enterprise. Support GSB communication with external entities as directed.

Establish central GSB governance procedures with SBUs and Global Service Lines. Communicate internally on GSB portfolio objectives through Group channels to support internal Global sales efforts.

Enhance GSB delivery team performance by reducing bureaucracy, providing training, mentoring and quality management guidance. Develop and enforce processes and standards.

Provide plan for and manage GSB documentation, project history and organizational knowledge. Be a central point of contact for lessons learned and best practices.

Conduct GSB project/program financial management activities. Report financial information such as Return on Investment (ROI). Monitor GSB project/program dashboard bookings and Group investment performance.

Define high level GSB objectives and milestones resulting from Group strategic planning sessions such as Les Rencontres. Update GSIP internal reporting structure with GSB weekly status reports, M-review, QBR and GSIP dashboard.

Manage dependencies across multiple GSB projects. Identify program area overlaps with respect to use cases, sectors, BUs, accounts and identify possible areas for synergy.

Define new GSB candidate selection process and oversee resource rotations within the program.
