Windows Server Security solution engineer/architect required to work in the Enterprise Security Platforms (ESP) Engineering Team, providing the highest level of security consultancy and engineering support for Windows Server security agents.

The role will focus on engineering Windows security agents and tooling utilized to manage the various solutions.

The role is suited to an experienced Windows Server Engineer with a proven understanding in enterprise security.

This role is primarily project based, with numerous activities to expand and enhance the services provided within the environment.

The Platform Security Engineering team provides a stable, yet agile and dynamic infrastructure platform to support the business functional requirements whilst  managing associated risks.


The candidate must demonstrate very strong technical qualities

– preferably in a global environment, ideally within the finance industry. 

– Engineering, analysis and development of Windows Server security agents / solutions.

– Provide consultancy services to other IT Security teams

– Provide architecture assurance on Windows security initiatives

 – Create, review, maintain and update documentation including Documenting and Publishing fixes in central knowledge base 

– Work  with global colleagues to provide globally consistent processes and solutions

.- Investigate andTroubleshoot root causes when escalated from operations

– Active participation within and amongst teams and colleagues, providing constructive feedback when necessary.

– Input into Business Continuity Planning and Practices

Required Skills:

 – Excellent understanding and experience of architecting, engineering and automating Windows Server Security solutions for a Global environment of 10,000+ Servers

– AntiVirus, Encryption, Sandboxing, OS Hardening, RBAC etc.

– Experience of working with Enterprise Security Products and Frameworks (Symantec, Avecto, NIST, CIS)?Expert Level Windows Operating System knowledge, including kernel debugging.

– Communication, flexibility, self-driven, team player

– Scripting and Automating Skills (Powershell, VBscript, C#)

 – Knowledge of common Windows Infrastructure (Active Directory/SCCM/GPO)

– General networking (Firewalls, Routing, NAT, OSI Model, packet trace and analysis, etc.)

Desired Skills:

– Knowledge of  Networks and Firewall Infrastructure

– Working knowledge of RedHat Linux.  

Provides specialist  expertise in specific technologies both internally to guide others and externally  in Bid and Project situations. 

Has both technical depth and/or breadth to perform a strategic technical role.

Capable of communicating technical issues to clients and colleagues and taking ultimate responsibility for technical implementation.

Day to Day responsibilities:

• Assistance to Principal Technician for providing solutions, resource (People, material, time &  budget) management in their respective technology vertical SLA management;

• Building technical expertise in respective area of infrastructure and systems management;

• Provide 3rd level support in respective technology vertical (Systems, Network or Storage , Database);

• Keeping abreast of changes in the technical sphere;

• Leading technology improvements in customer engagements;

• Documentation  

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and/or required years of experience

• 7-10 years of experience, College Degree

• Should be proficient in Technical Process Expertise, Technology Application and Continuous (Service) Improvement

• Should have progressing skills in Transition Management and Technical Solution Design
