Senior Manager

Responsibility

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of client engagement project at Payment and Fintech field leading project team members, however, also may expected to take a lead of project delivery at non-payment financial industry depending on business needs and new clients.
  • Identify business opportunities and drive business development including client relationship improvement individually or with Head of Payment and Fintech at Japan.
  • Drive initiatives with Head of Payment and Fintech in Japan to increase the awareness and brand of Capgemini, and further develop the business in this field. Such efforts may includes;
    • Develop and expand the external stakeholder network at payment industry sectors, such as issuers, acquirers, international payment brands, payment processors, domestic switches, eCommerce gateways, technology vendors, eCommerce players, SNS, mobile app developers, regulators etc.
    • Proactively gather industry trend, issues, success factors locally and globally leveraging Capgemini global network as well as developed local stakeholder network. And, develop industry insights that is expected to deliver externally for further business development and Capgemini’s brand penetration.
    • Engage in broad range of solution development with such external partners as well as with Capgemini’s global network and technology partners, etc to expand products and services aimed at achieving Capgemeini’s strategic agenda in Japan.

Required Qualification

  • 15-20 years of progressively responsible business experience including the leading experience at Management Consulting Firm and / or Business planning team at profit organization
  • Industry Expertise: Advanced knowledge and experience of payment and/or financial sector; local payment processing, issuer and acquirer’s business and system, e-Commerce, digital are a plus.  Ability to assess wide variety of cross-industry business problems and opportunities leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience.
  • Project Management: Superior experiences of engagements and delivery of various business and technology projects leading both client and own project team.
  • Client management: Proven client management capability to ensure the successful delivery of projects and improve the client relationships for further business development.
  • Interpersonal skill: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across global, regional and Japan.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment and willing to take a lead at international working environment with demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Native Japanese language capability and advanced English capability.
  • Bachelor degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science or a similar field. Advanced degree is a plus.

Manager/ Senior Consultant 

Responsibility

  • Drive Under the supervision of Project Lead. That includes but not limited to;
    • Well understand task background, objective, project situation, issue, risk, client expectation etc. and proactively drive project tasks to meet Project Lead expectation.
    • Develop quality draft outputs and finalize them under the supervision of project lead.
    • Pay attention to any potential project risks and appropriately escalate it to Project Lead with his or her own recommendation
    • Manage client project team members and ensure / improve working level client relationship
  • Proactively work for any other assigned jobs including business development, external marketing activities etc.

Required Qualification

  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible business experience at Management Consulting Firm and / or Strategy/Business planning team at the organization around Payment, Cashless, Fintech, and digital, such as Card Companies, Banks, Fintech, SNS, Internet, Technology, eCommerce, Mobile App etc.
  • Project Management: Experienced project management skill through various type of projects regardless of internal and external.
  • Interpersonal skill: Proven interpersonal skills and ability (or willing) to communicate effectively across global, regional and Japan.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience to deal with external stakeholders, including client and / or business partners with good track record of ensuring and improving relationships.
  • Superior logical thinking, problem solving and analytic skills to ensure the quality of outputs at project.
  • Excellent MS office skill: Excel, Work, PowerPoint etc.
  • Work Style: Self-starter and ability to work independently regardless of unknown and inexperienced field with steep learning curve.  And, willing to work at complex and often ambiguous environment, and challenge at international working environment.
  • Native Japanese language capability and business English capability (advanced English capability is plus).
  • Bachelor degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science or a similar field. Advanced degree is a plus.
