Deal Controller

Position and BU Overview

The candidate will :

§support deals Sales Teams in developing competitive financial propositions for our clients
§enforce ERD Italy financial optimization throughout the bid process while ensuring financials adhere to internal compliance / rules

The candidate will report to the ERD Italy Lead Controller.

Position Responsibilities

The Deal Analyst is an integral core team member, supporting the Sales and Finance teams in developing and reviewing the customer financial model to achieve business objectives with a customer centric focus.
The Deal Analyst is a critical resource for:

           - developing and presenting financial proposals and pricing models: business case, price to win, work units, invoicing model and financial terms and conditions when negotiating and closing new business, including through client facing presentations

           - internal stakeholders interactions ensuring Capgemini’s interests are optimized throughout the bid process, specifically with regards to cash, margin, revenue, risks protection – and enforcing that financials rules and compliance are adhered to.

Professional Experience and qualifications
·Finance/Accounting Bachelor degree- Accounting literacy: IFRS15 revenue recognition, modeling of 3rd parties (capex and financing…)
·Deal structuring - Financial modelling: develop complex pricing models with solution team; strong excel experience
·Financial excellence- Experience in articulating and presenting financial proposals both on high level view and into the details
·Capgemini portfolio knowledge( if internal recruit only)
·Solving complex client situations
·Technology awareness & leveraging
·Risk management
·Negotiating/client relations
·Commercial/contractual skills- Write financial terms and conditions and ensuring alignment between financial modeling and contract
·Italian language speaking
·Fluent in English.

§Strong business acumen and good communication skills
§Logical thinker, and enjoying to structure deals and to find solutions or alternatives to internal and customer financial issues
§Ability to own his/her own deliverables in given timelines while being a strong Team player
§Flexibility (no week the same) and ability to cope with Clients’ time pressure.
