He is a key member of the Capgemini Leadership Team in India and is also a member of the Executive Legal Board and board member of Capgemini Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.<br><br>He is a strong advocate of governance and actively drives the same as a member of various internal committees in India such as Internal Audit Committee of the Board, Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace, Grievances, Corporate Social Responsibility and Procurement Governance.<br><br>Prior to joining Capgemini in 2011, Bharat was the Vice President General Counsel and Ethics &amp; Compliance Officer at Oracle Financial Services Software (formerly i-flex solutions) where he spent nearly 15 years of his professional journey.<br><br>He is one of the founding members of the Technology Law Forum, a platform which spreads awareness and demystifies law and technology for professionals in both fields alike. Bharat also enjoys mentoring aspiring law students in his personal capacity and has spoken at various external forums like NASSCOM and many more.<br><br>Bharat holds a Degree in Law from the University of Mumbai and other prestigious certifications from Harvard Business Publishing for the Management Development Program, online advance certification from WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) on Copyright and Related Rights, and Electronic Commerce &amp; Intellectual Property. He is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional \u2013 International from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.<br><br>Bharat also possesses a certification on Management Development Program conducted by XLRI (Jamshedpur) on the topic of \u201cPowering Executive Leadership with Ethics and
