– What does your average day look like?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In my role, I am responsible for the growth, competitiveness and delivery for our clients in manufacturing, automotive and life sciences for the France region. So my day includes working with my team on pursuits, client steering committee meetings, internal meetings with my team and leadership on client business transformation ideas, industrialized solutions and innovations, and new go-to-market strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– What\u2019s the best thing about working at Capgemini?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I have always been passionate about the most challenging and versatile roles offered to me for the last 17 years of my journey with Capgemini. I joined as a technical leader in 2004, and then moved ahead as transformation lead for complex deliveries, taking another role of industrialization lead and growing into a delivery head, from which point I am currently in the position of a market leader for the region in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these roles gave me a unique opportunity to learn and add value to any given situation or challenge, and to create a win-win situation for our end clients and\/or internal stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In my role, I am in charge of finding solutions to our customers’ main challenges in their engineering and manufacturing engineering processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an architect, I must connect with people with very different areas of expertise and backgrounds, and find solutions that fit best for our customers. This means identifying and analyzing very complex problems, evaluating potential solutions, and mobilizing the right expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am also part of our Center of Excellence, which inter-connects architects from our entire capabilities worldwide. As I work on varied things as part of my role, from dealing with customers, to internal projects, there is no continuous engagement that could define a typical work-day for me. There is a continuous variety that forms part of my day-to-day job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– What\u2019s the best thing about working at Capgemini?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The first thing is summarized by our motto: \u2018People matter, results count.\u2019 I have met so many great people within the organization. Whenever you address a colleague, there is this instant connection, and a culture that makes you comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second noticeable thing would be the freedom. I am not the kind of person who likes to sit in a role for too long. In my five years at Capgemini, I had the experience of managing a business group in France (120 people), leading a large international deal, transitioning a project in Germany, delivering another one in the UK where I had afterward a delivery lead role\u2026 That is Capgemini, and how you build your own path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I am proud of Capgemini, and of the 7 Values we share worldwide, Freedom, Fun, Team Spirit, and Boldness are what I find most unique about Capgemini as an organization, and the way in which this is felt and experienced throughout different entities is something that I truly resonate with. These are core pillars of the culture, and they are shared by all employees. I am also very proud that we took a real environmental sustainability commitment to achieving carbon neutrality no later than 2025 and becoming a net zero business by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– How are you working towards the future you want?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I want to grow continuously, and learn new things. I never settle in the skills I have, I always need to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. My managers are constantly helping me to stretch my limits to achieve more professionally. I was part of the Connected Manager Program at Harvard last year, and this year I am also part of another program, \u2018Making Leaders,\u2019 with a French business school. I wish to grow as a person and as a professional, for myself, for my teams, and for the future of Capgemini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You may still not understand the force of the Capgemini group and its culture yet. If you recently joined Capgemini, please take some time to think about our core values, go into the wild, and meet as many people as you can. There is so much expertise and crazy stuff going on in Capgemini, and sometimes you wouldn’t know. Hence, fellow new joiner, boldly go to meet your colleagues, be curious, this world is ever-changing, and I am always amazed by the diversity and knowledge we have in this company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– What has your experience been during the pandemic?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Capgemini put a lot of focus towards taking care of its people, and this is something that was observed through various initiatives taken across the globe to ensure physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. For example, in France to keep the team spirit and morale high, we organized a lot of fun events, inviting colleagues to take time off from work and relax while working from their home offices. There were also conversations led by the leadership to ensure that everyone felt cared for and given attention to during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
