My usual work day

Starts with checking mails, ends with sending some!

My day starts with checking mails and replying to them. My next task depends on what I am then working on and includes researching on things, documenting them, setting up meetings and following up on the previous day’s guidelines received from my managers. The entire team I am working with is based out of the UK and USA, and it is around lunchtime when I start having my meetings with them. A couple of coffee breaks and some light moments with colleagues act as energizers during the day. The day ends with sending updates on projects and setting up meetings for the following day.

My Hobbies

Books are my best friends.

I started reading novels when I was around 10 and have never stopped since. A lot of the credit for it goes to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his Sherlock Holmes books. I mostly read fiction and my favorite authors include names like Dan Brown, J.K. Rowling, John Grisham and Frederick Forsyth. I also like swimming and chilling in the pool at times.

My personal life

Friends, Family, Fun.

Apart from myself and my hobbies, a major part of my personal life revolves around my friends and family. I regularly catch up and hang out with them whenever possible. I have a personal goal of owning 1000 books in the next 10 years and have already started collecting books for that. I am also very much fascinated with science and history and try visiting museums dedicated to them.

I am really looking forward to the four rotations in the first year and expect it to be a huge learning experience. The exposure to various fields will help me decide my field of interest, based on which I hope to decide my future career path. The opportunity to interact and network with people of all the designations including CXOs and from diverse geographies will enable me to develop myself so as to be able to lead the organization in the future.
