Yann Delabrière becomes ‘Senior Advisor’ to Capgemini Consulting

Biography:

Born in 1950, Yann Delabrière is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (the French National School of Administration) and he has a post-graduate degree in mathematics. He began his career at the Committee of Public Accounts (“Cour des Comptes”) before working in the cabinet office of the Foreign Trade Ministry.

Yann then worked as Financial Director of COFACE (Compagnie Française d’Assurance pour le Commerce Extérieur, a French export credit agency) and for the Printemps Group. In 1990, he joined the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group as Chief Financial Officer and, in this role, became a member of the automaker’s Executive Committee in 1998, and Chairman and CEO of the Group’s consumer finance unit, Banque PSA Finance. Yann was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Faurecia on February 16, 2007. He has been a member of Faurecia’s Board of Directors since 1996 and, prior to his appointment as Chairman and CEO, was Chairman of the Audit Committee. Since July 1, 2016, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faurecia. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Cap Gemini.

Cap Gemini SA’s Board of Directors has concluded, upon recommendation of its Ethics and Governance Committee chaired by its Lead Independent Director, that this new role remains compatible with Yann Delabrière’s directorship. The Board noted in particular that this arrangement would be entered into at arms’ length on standard market terms and in the course of Capgemini Consulting’s ordinary operations.
