André Cichowlas Appointed New Head of Delivery and Competitiveness at Capgemini Group

“André is a seasoned professional who has been dedicated to the Capgemini Group for 29 years and has held a number of leadership positions in the company. We are delighted to welcome him in this new role and are confident that his forward thinking vision, especially of delivery models will allow us to enhance the quality of service being offered to our clients and reinforce the competitiveness of the Group” said Patrick Nicolet, Group Management Board Member, to whom André will report.
Biography of André Cichowlas:
André has been with Capgemini since 1985 when he joined the Group as a software engineer. He has fulfilled many roles in the company including project manager, security expert, Skill Center manager, and Chief Technology Officer for the Financial Services Global Business Unit.
In 2010 André was appointed CTO for Financial Services and in 2013 he became Head of Global Practices. In this role, he focused on issues critical to the financial services industry, managing the portfolio and delivery model of the Financial Services Global Business Unit. André has a broad experience of the financial services industry and was instrumental in designing and delivering the French Automated Clearing House System (Système Interbancaire de Télécompensation), an integral part of financial institution payment systems.
Aged 54, André has degrees in engineering from Ecole Polytechnique and IT engineering from Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité in France.
