India, 17 March 2011, Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc in the leaders quadrant for Global Business Intelligence and Performance Management Service Providers, in the latest “Magic Quadrant for Global Business Intelligence and Performance Management Service Providers”*.

Capgemini has been positioned based on “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision”. According to the report, “This Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors in the market according to the ability of C&SI firms to meet the need for global BI delivery capability”.

Paul Nannetti, Head of the Business Information Management (BIM) service line of Capgemini, said: “We believe our positioning by Gartner in the leaders’ quadrant is a result of the Group’s focus and investment in Business Information Management solutions, methodologies and capabilities, to help our clients realise superior value from their information assets. During 2010 we launched a number of new BI solutions, aimed at accelerating speed to business value, working closely with our key technology partners. We are continuing to invest in 2011 – in recent weeks we announced a set of Master Data Management offerings, and introduced a Business Analytics solution for Telecoms.”

Over the course of the past 12 months Capgemini has significantly improved its standing on the completeness of vision axis, moving out of the challengers’ quadrant and firmly into the leaders’ quadrant.
