Digitally enabling healthier lives

Digital is the great enabler, and our framework can play an important role in enabling behavior change. We have identified five steps to help move from the goals of any individual initiative to a portfolio of prioritized interventions that leverages the capabilities of digital to drive behavior change. These steps are:

Define the goal, measures, and target personas for the initiative.

  1. Review the catalog of digital enablers for inspiration and prompts for how to influence behavior in line with the goal.
  2. With the goal and measures in mind, develop future journeys for each persona, selecting the relevant digital enablers.
  3. Map the enablers to the digital H&W compass to ensure there is a good balance across the drivers of behavioral change.
  4. Determine which enablers require collaboration and which will be delivered by individual companies according to their strategy.

The paper provides an overview of the H&W initiative, its mission, and focus. It discusses the importance of behavior change and the role digital can play. Finally, it introduces our Global Health and Wellness Digital Framework and Digital Compass, explaining how each of the country initiatives under the H&W umbrella can understand the potential role of digital as they build their own tailored roadmaps with digital an embedded part of driving their success.

Capgemini is delighted to work with The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) to develop the Global Health and Wellness Digital Framework and help set the playbook for digital across retail and consumer product companies. Supporting our industry to collaborate in the pursuit of healthier lives for consumers, shoppers, employees, friends, and family on a global scale is inspiring and a privilege.
