What does E.L.I.T.E. stand for?

 Why E.L.I.T.E.?

The E.L.I.T.E. General Management Program is a rigorous 10-year management program, starting with a 12-month rotational program, designed to meet and exceed the expectations of the world’s top business talent.

Program Overview
The program focuses on providing exposure to various roles and functions across Capgemini through rotations, senior leader mentorship, and extra-curricular projects and events. These features are designed to facilitate learning and development as well as build an international network.

Rotations
In the first year, E.L.I.T.E. Management Trainees undergo high stretch assignments across the different business verticals. The Trainees are therefore better prepared to launch their careers and make an impact at Capgemini.

International Stints
International exposure is critical for the growth of a business leader, therefore at least one of the rotations* for the Trainee would be international. There will also be a week’s training at Capgemini’s University in Les Fontaines, France, a fantastic learning environment housed in a chateau just outside of Paris.

*All international travel will be subject to immigration requirements and approval.

What is the Career path?

The goal for the E.L.I.T.E. Trainees is to run businesses within a decade.

After 4 rotations, candidates will be absorbed into one of our business units or functions, and will be expected to be the agents of change with a clear progression expectations and milestones along the way.

The E.L.I.T.E. program provides a variety of medium-term possible career tracks upon program graduation spanning the various verticals of the business.

E.L.I.T.E. L’innovateur

E.L.I.T.E. General Management program launched its first season of L’innovateur, a campus innovation challenge for 6 premier B-schools of India. Participants were expected to identify solutions to business problems in insurance, media and entertainment or government and public sector, using cutting edge technologies like blockchain, IoT, AR/VR and AI. The challenge was intended to give students a flavor of solving business problems using technology, while exposing them to the kind of work Capgemini does, clarifying and reinforcing the positioning of ELITE program. It also allowed Capgemini to gauge and catch talent early on, by giving PPIs to winners before the final placements start. We received close to 90 entries, out of which we funneled down to 6 through a 3-stage elimination process. These 6 teams were flown down to Hyderabad on 27th November 2018 for the grand finale at Sheraton Hotel, where they presented their ideas in front of the panelists Avinash Chandra, Vikash Singh and Anuj Agarwal. It was an enriching experience for both the jury and participants as they explored how technology can solve real world business problems and ease lives. After careful consideration, the jury announced Team Rags to Riches from FMS as the winners of the challenge, followed by Team Incredibles from IIM Kozhikode and Team Wakanda from IIM Lucknow.
