Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

If your passion becomes your profession, it feels great to be logging in to work every day. The global nature of this organization, the diversity of culture, and the continuous learning opportunities excite me every moment, every hour, every day!

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

A few things that I love about Capgemini include the diverse character of the organization, the collaboration with multicultural and global teams that makes every project and initiative a unique experience. Also, the high value placed on our freedom and entrepreneurial spirit, and lastly, the strong business ethics core to its business philosophy are all aspects that make Capgemini a great place to work.

What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

Being part of Offer Development team helps me think beyond my work profile. It helps me think about the future needs of our customers. We do a lot of market research and study the industry trends to plan for the future offers to go to market. My team has put in place strategic efforts and frameworks enabling me to give my best to each client.

How are you working towards the future you want?

We work in creating New Strategic Offers across ten different industries. We want to partner with the top OEMs and Tier 1s to address their business requirements in the engineering space, bringing immense exposure and learning for me as an individual. Whether it is the domain, future technology, and products, or the truly global nature of the job, Capgemini gives the exposure and opportunities that I truly cherish and respect.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Capgemini has a vast range of opportunities. Its open culture means that it places people’s priorities at the top. Be it in Delivery, Practice, Presales, and now Portfolio, it has been great learning throughout, and I am sure that with the kind of global exposure I am currently getting, I am in a place that will excel in my career. My mantra to every prospective joinee to Capgemini is to “Put Ideas to Execution.” Perform your roles diligently, set strategic directions, and take responsibility to execute them.

How do you think Capgemini’s support has been since the pandemic began?

The dramatic spread of COVID-19 disrupted lives, livelihoods, communities, and businesses worldwide. Capgemini, during these times, ensured effective communication with employees and helped them with a vast number of initiatives like vaccination drives, access to COVID care facilities, access to a community of supportive colleagues, care packages, etc. I am proud to be part of this organization.
