• How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work at Capgemini
  I love the work that I do. It gives immense pleasure when we deliver and create impact. Every day is different and all the learnings and experience accumulate. I am blessed to have close friends at work with whom I share a personal bond. I strongly believe in friendly open environment that nurtures growth. I really look forward to work with my friends and colleagues. And of course, there is always something to laugh about every single day.
• What do you love about your job?
  Exposure.  We work on the technology that enables cars of tomorrow. We partner with the top Automotive OEMs and Tier1s to address their business requirements in the engineering space. This brings immense exposure and learning for me as an individual. Whether it is domain, future technology and products, or the truly global nature of the job, Capgemini gives the exposure and opportunities that I truly cherish.
• How does Capgemini empower you to master your skills?
  Over the years, I have realized that in the job, experiential learning is best way to learn.Capgemini is always full of experiences. A year is never one quarter repeated four times. I get to play diverse roles including delivery, solutions and business development activities which I enjoy.Capgemini provides ample talent building and reskilling opportunities. From engagement management, architect certification, to multiple soft skill and leadership development opportunities, a wide range of options and channels are available to hone my skills.
• How does Capgemini give you the autonomy to make decisions?
  Autonomy is a tricky thing. For autonomy to work, you need both – accountability and empowerment. Capgemini empowers me to take my own decisions. Rules and policies are always there, but Capgemini recognizes that every business and geography is different, and it allows people to make reasonable adjustments. That makes me feel that I am in control and that’s autonomy for me. All this is bound byvalues and ethics. No compromise there.
• What was your most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?
  One of the great momentsfor me was to be a part of Engagement Management 2.0 program at the picturesque and state-of-the-art Capgemini university at Les Fontaines, Paris.It was right after the integration of IGATE with Capgemini and I got in-depth insights into the work we are doing at Capgemini. I got to meet some wonderful people and brainstorm on various aspects and challenges of Engagement management. I still have a picture of the event in my head.
• What are you an Ace at?
  I love working with people from diverse backgrounds. I ace collaboration. It is difficult to differentiate in client situations based on technical capabilities alone. What matters the most is the TEAM that works with the client; bringing people together from diverse backgrounds, skills and perspectives that complement each other to ensure that all work with team goals ahead of personal goals. Collaborative teams are the winning teams.
