Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

A day in Capgemini is never the conventional 9-to-5 job. You are always challenged with tasks that require a fresh, innovative approach for designing cutting-edge solutions for clients. You also get a chance to interact with cross-functional teams and gain global exposure. My work location frequently changes. Hence, over the past five years (except the last one-and-a-half years), I have traveled to more than 14 countries for client engagements.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

How are you working towards the future you want?

I still remember my journey when I started as a Research Analyst at Capgemini, and the leadership groomed me to deliver global engagement across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, etc. Today, I handle the entire France region for all consulting engagements, which has been possible only because the leadership believes in its people.

The future is uncertain. The only thing we can do is to prepare ourselves to face it. Capgemini Invent lets you have freedom, backed by a strong team spirit. It is a highly functional team with an agile mindset and ready to take on any new challenges. That is the way I plan to work towards the future – by making the right bets and preparing my team to upskill/cross-skill themselves.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

How do you think Capgemini’s support has been since the pandemic began?

The pandemic response by Capgemini has been excellent! A central COVID-19 response team was put together, which hosted a chain of employee initiatives to help employees during these uncertain times immediately after the global pandemic gripped us. For those afflicted by COVID, Capgemini ensured they received the best healthcare and the best medical assistance. My family and I suffered from COVID-19 in the first wave, and we all got much-needed help during that period. Capgemini leadership and HR teams went the extra mile to connect with me and ensure my wellbeing. This excellent response to COVID-19 is a testimony to Capgemini’s people-centric approach.
