Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

In my role as Service Delivery Manager, my day begins with checking project emails and conducting team meetings. I get everything organized at the start of the day and create my to-do list to get an idea of where to get started.

I am always focused on working out measures to maximize customer satisfaction, ensuring that we meet every milestone, and that our project delivery exceeds the service standards for business excellence.

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

The best thing at Capgemini is the tremendous growth, the opportunities, and the freedom available to the employees. A strong focus on diversity is embedded in the culture of the organization. How are you working towards the future you want?

Setting up a goal and staying committed to it is what drives me to excel in my career. The company’s learning culture has always enabled me to learn new skills, take on new challenges and explore. I always make a list that includes my goals, my level of commitment towards it, and the potential steps I will need to take to reach my goal. I always like to evaluate my progress periodically and stay focused on my plan.

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

My advice to prospective employees would be, “Feel comfortable and get familiar with your new working environment, analyze your tasks before diving in, be clear of your supervisor’s expectations. At the same time, I would encourage them to ask questions, stay interested, be curious, connect with as many people as they can, have a mentor experienced in your area of interest/expertise, and most importantly, always follow the company guidelines.”

How do you think Capgemini’s support has been since the pandemic began?

During these unprecedented times, our Capgemini Leadership and HR teams paid very close attention to the overall well-being of employees, and in particular, their emotional well-being. We have been regularly receiving communications on best practices for maintaining our health and hygiene during these times.

Capgemini launched several activities for us, as well as our family members, where we could participate in exciting contests, enabling us to stay connected and motivated. Additionally, they also organized a series of Employee Engagement programs to drive team spirit and ensure a sense of belonging.
