Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

Capgemini offers you an experience that empowers you to excel. As a Technical Lead, I work with a sharp, technology and business-focused community. My day here is full of challenges and opportunities, and my accomplishment is maneuvering through both with the same zeal. My role at Capgemini involves:

  • Supporting clients by identifying/solving their business challenge from a technical point of view
  • Driving the developers to build robust designs
  • Collaborating with clients and defining integration/migration strategy
  • Guiding client/team

Every day is a new learning experience at Capgemini, and I make the most of it.

I get to work on technologies that most software professionals dream about. Hence, I ensure I dedicate time to learning and enhancing my skills and abilities. What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

Leave all your fears and reservations at the door. When new employees join a company, they bring a lot of anxieties and fears with them. My suggestion to them will be to relax and let go of their worries. Capgemini is a place where you can thrive and excel above and beyond your expectations. Just concentrate on learning and give it your all; the rest will follow.

How do you think Capgemini’s support has been since the pandemic began?

Capgemini’s support during the pandemic has been appreciable. It has taken all the necessary steps to give a sense of security to its employees. From facilitating Covid helpline desks and arranging online consultations with doctors, to mobilizing vaccination drives and covering Covid expenses in Mediclaim, Capgemini has persistently established itself as a “people’s organization.”
