Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

As a Global Solution Lead for Cloud Infrastructure Services, I spend most of my time creating transformative new capabilities. My day starts with interacting with customers and colleagues in the APAC region. Afternoons are spent with various stakeholders in the European region, and towards evening, I coordinate with teams in the US region. Despite working remotely, I collaborate with colleagues from different geographies and cultures seamlessly.  I applaud Capgemini for fostering such smooth and enriching collaborations!

What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

How are you working towards the future you want?

I have been with Capgemini for five years, and in this journey, I have had the opportunity to perform various roles. I started as Transition Director, and after about 2.5 years in that role, I took up the Global Solution Lead role. In this role, I am responsible for cloud, tools, and automation solutions. These are hot topics in the industry, and I feel privileged to be working on such cutting-edge technologies.

In my journey so far, I have endeavored to challenge the status quo, push the boundaries, and come out of my comfort zone. I try to be a better version of myself every day!

What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?

How do you think Capgemini’s support has been since the pandemic began?

When the pandemic hit, I knew there was no place I would like to be other than Capgemini.

Throughout the COVID-19 outbreak, Capgemini left no stone unturned to support its employees and society. It made great efforts in collaborating with government authorities for distributing masks, sanitizers, PPE kits, oxygen concentrators, and other essential medical supplies.

Capgemini even organized a free vaccination drive for its employees across all its campus locations. Furthermore, it rolled out financial assistance programs, insurance cover for COVID treatment, home-cooked meal programs, home collection of RT-PCR tests, COVID homecare support, and a range of other initiatives that ensured employees and their families are safe and healthy, during these tough times.
