My usual work day

My usual work day starts at 9 am, when I am usually in office. I spend the first hour checking and replying to mails, getting to some urgent pending work, making my to-do list and planning out my schedule for the day. I then categorize the list of pending items as high, medium or low priority and start with the high priority projects. A good chunk of my time these days is spent in meetings, so for meetings planned through the day, I try to space out 15-30 mins to prepare.

My Hobbies

I love playing Lawn Tennis. Andre Agassi is my all-time favorite tennis player. I am also an amateur drummer, who is still trying to get better. My favorite has to be Jon Bonham, from Led Zeppelin. I also consider myself a budding photographer, who is getting better at the art.

My personal life

My family consists of my father, who is a Banker with Allahabad Bank, my mother, who is a school-counsellor, my younger brother, who is still studying and my lovely dog, Leo – a Labrador retriever. I come from a place called Dhanbad, in Jharkhand. On weekends, I am the one generally making plans with friends, forcing them to go to a new place to eat. I also love traveling, and got the chance to explore about 18 countries over the last year. Next destinations on my list are Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Croatia.

Expectation from E.L.I.T.E.

My expectations from the E.L.I.T.E. General Management Program is getting the chance to work on various challenging projects across different domains & Business Units in the first year, giving me an exposure of how the organization functions. I also expect to get the opportunity to meet and network with senior leaders of the organization, learn from their experiences and build a professional network. Through this, I expect to assimilate as much as I can and use this as a Launchpad to move into a high growth trajectory.
